OUR FAVORITE SUMMER SMOOTHIE!

1 clove of garlic, peeled but left whole
1" of fresh ginger root, left whole
Juice from half of a lemon
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 green apple
8-10 ice cubes
1 15 oz can coconut milk
1 big handful of fresh kale
4 big handfuls of fresh baby spinach

Combine all of the above in a blender (a Vitamix is awesome if you have one) and enjoy!  Makes 3-4 servings.
